## Summary

In Nepal's Nuwakot district, authorities have launched a crackdown on the sale and distribution of homemade, illicit liquor made from inedible ingredients. This move comes as a response to the increased presence of such liquor in and around settlements housing approximately 2,000 displaced individuals from the Bhotekoshi flood in Rasuwa's Uttargaya Rural Municipality-1. The displaced residents, who are currently living in temporary accommodations, are now at risk of consuming toxic liquor, posing a significant health concern for the community.
